I always liked the out-of-doors. The transition going from farm life to enjoying wildlife and nature was, for me, an easily acceptable path. Knowing or anticipating the cedar waxwings were going to show up soon to feed on my hedge blossoms, or the sticky shooting star was blooming right on time by my fence was as compelling as the unexpected surprise of seeing and watching a brand new moose calf with its mother two weeks sooner than expected. That part of day that is part dark and part light is what I think of as "half-light." Twice a day the angle of sunlight and its warmth influences color and nature and how wildlife lives. I very much enjoy this "dance across the light of day." Now, with the camera nearby, I can share... some.
